2. Dedicated tablet with stylish and intuitive user interface
The 8-inch MyPlace colour touchscreen is an Android tablet and serves as your smart home control panel (10-inch option available).
This single touch screen controls both the air conditioning unit and air management system eliminating the need for 2 separate panels. Plus, if you’ve got other smart home integrations with MyPlace, these also operate off the same tablet.

Got a forgetful family member who forgets to turn off the air conditioning before they leave? No problem, you can quickly and easily check – and turn off – air conditioning remotely.
4. Precision air flow for maximum comfort
Advantage Air’s patented Exact Air Regulator (EAR) controls how much air each room will get.
This is one of MyAir’s secret weapons for striking the balance between energy savings and achieving your preferred temperature.
Using technology normally found in commercial high-rise buildings, you can adjust the airflow in each room by as little as 5%.
5. Energy Saving Motion Sensors
Another clever energy saving feature of MyAir is the option to have motion sensors installed in one or several rooms.
If a room is empty for 10 minutes the target temperature will be adjusted (increased or decreased) by 1 degree.
If there’s no motion detected for another 10 minutes it will adjusts the temperature by another 1 degree.
While these are only small adjustments, it’s enough to reduce a room’s energy usage by a whopping 20% which is helpful to your hip pocket.
This one’s an optional extra so just let us know if you’d like it included in your quote.
6. Individually control the temperature of each room – for comfort and energy savings
One of our favourite features is the ability to control temperature and airflow for up to 10 zones – very handy for Queensland’s hot summers!
Temperature of rooms can vary greatly throughout the day depending on the orientation of the house and season.
But if you install an Individual Temperature Control (ITC) sensor – the system can automatically adjust the air flow to each room to maintain the desired temperature for that space.
Example: Let’s imagine you’re running your air conditioning in the peak of summer. You’ve got a 1 year old who still has an afternoon nap, but their room is on the western side of house which cops the harsh afternoon sun. By installing an ITC sensor in this room/zone you can be confident that the room temperature will be maintained as the system will adjust the airflow without you having to constantly check.
Expert tip: ITC sensors are super helpful for rooms that heat up faster than the rest of the house. And they can be installed in as many rooms at time or installation (or later!)
