Why We’re Taking Part in Movember
Power Trip is taking on Movember because men’s mental health is something that is often overlooked.
Speaking from experience, we find that many men don’t often speak up about it and suffer in silence.
As a predominately male team who work in the trades, we’re often typecast to be larrikins with a ‘she’ll be right’ mantra, making it even harder to be honest when we’re struggling.
Movember not only raises money for mental health and suicide prevention, but it also helps fund research into and treatment of prostate cancer and testicular cancer. So, we’re honoured to throw our weight behind such important causes.
